Rain Drop Technique is a powerful technique using essential oils that was developed by D. Gary Young in the 1980's.  It combines several holistic modalities to bring balance and alignment to the body in a non-invasive manner.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage:

Ultimate health relies on a healthy lymphatic system.  This gentle relaxing massage helps move lymph through the body clearing toxins and reducing inflammation. Lymphatic drainage helps reduce the swelling many experience post breast cancer treatments.

Aromatherapy Massage:

Relaxation or deep tissue massage with the addition of Young Living Essential Oil.  Oils are used topically and are also diffused into the air.

Myofascial Release:

Fascia is a web-like sheet of connective tissue that exentds from the top of the head to the tips of the toes.  In Myofascial Release, the therapist uses a very light touch to soften and stretch the fascia.

Myofascial release can be effective in reducing or eliminating pain and increasing or restoring motion to tissue that has been affected by stress, injury or illness.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST):

The cranio-sacral system consists of themembranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.  This system has its own pulse, which can be felt throughout the body-more strongly in the cranium and sacral regions-by a trained CST therapist.

The therapist palpates the craniosacral pulse using very light pressure to enhance body function, help alleviate pain and dysfunction, and encourage the body's own natural healing mechanisms to reduce the effects of stress on your central nervous system.

Foot Reflexology:

Treat your feet to bliss.  After a relaxing aromatherapy foot bath, enjoy a thorough stimulation of the reflex points in the feet corresponding to the major organs of the body.  The whole body benefits from this massage technique.

Maya Abdominal Massage

A massage for both men and women focusing on bringing circulation to the adbomen.  This massage is used to increase fertility, reduce indigestion, and help relieve painful menses in women and prostate problems in men.

Eastern Techniques

Shiatsu:

A Japanese form of massage, usually done on a futon on the floor, this technique balances the 12 meridians of the body.  Shiatsu relies on stretching and brisk acupressure to relax the body and foster healing.

Acupressure:

An Oriental technique that is similar to acupuncture without the use of needles.  It is used to reduce pain and stress in the body and balances the Chi.  It is similar to Shiatsu in effects, but not as dynamic is practice.

Ayurvedic Practices

Derived from the ancient pracices of India, Ayurveda is based on the holistic model of health practiced for thousands of years.  Each massage is customized to your individual constitution.

Ayurvedic Marma (Pressure Point) Massage:

Similar to Acupressure, Marma Massage focuses on stimulating the 108 Marma Points located on the surface of the body. Tension or energy which is held in the body can cause muscle tightness pain and decreased range of motion. This process releases the blockages which allows the energy or Prana of your body to flow smoothly and aids in healing.

Abhyanga:

This therapy includes scalp rubbing, facial massage and a soothing warm oil massage.  The intention is to increase circulation in the body, helping to move lymph and other fluids that carry toxins out of the tissues and into the G.I. tract to be eliminated.

The skin is doused in warm oil, chosen according to your individual constitution, and enhanced with aromatherapeutic essential oils.  This massage has been used for centuries to slow the aging process.

Vishesh:

Vishesh is a deep tissue form of abhyanga that breaks up adhesions and fibrous scar tissue that accumulates in the musculature as a result of excessive mental, physical, and emotional stress.
